Wren & Warren: a character pair
Wren and Warren began with a simple contrast: one character leans towards every new clue, while the other seems to have heard the explanation before. Their poses need to tell that story before either speaks.
The study pairs a warm plum coat and copper curls with soft white fur and a mustard scarf. Those separate shapes and materials help the duo remain readable together.
The current presentation focuses on their relationship in a single still image. Small differences in gaze, posture and scale suggest where a scene might go next.
The portfolio page collects the character pair. Future studies can return to the same question from a new pose or a different light.
