Bowl Dancer, Profile
About this piece
The Bowl Dancer in profile, with the coral sash caught mid-sway over the teal long dress. Companion piece to the front view, built from the same base mesh — one character, two camera truths, zero cheats between them.
Profiles expose every lie a front view hides: the brow ridge, the chin tuck, the bowl's true ellipse. This pass refined the head and neck until the silhouette sang from the side too.
Process
- Derive from the same base mesh; twins, not siblings.
- Sculpt the profile against a filled-black background for honest edges.
- Flow the sash along motion arcs, never across them.
